PALS has 4 small rooms in which we separate cats by age. Kittens in one room, young cats in the second, juvenille in the third and one for older cats. Cats can roam free, play and get exercise. We have windows so you can watch them interact with each other. We are so entertained by their antics! If you want to adopt one, a volunteer will get it for you and you can interact with the cat in the "Get Acquainted Room". This helps to restrict any illness that may be brought into the facility.
Adoption Policies and Procedures:
To adopt a cat or small dog from this organization, we require that you provide written authorization from your landlord, a safe environment for the pet and a commitment to this pet. Remember - kittens grow up to be cats and puppies become dogs. A lot of effort and love by dedicated volunteers has gone into these animals. We want the very best home for them. Because of this, we reserve the right to choose the very best home for a particular animal. Adoption fees vary depending on whether the animal is male or female, the number of shots received and whether you reside in the city of Lodi or outlying areas. Remember all animals have to be licensed - even cats. Most of the costs of adoption are medically related and we try our very best to keep the costs down. PALS cats have been already spayed or neutered, have been tested for Feline Leukemia, and received shots. We offer a Senior Program and a special adoption day on the 3rd Saturday of every month. PALS contributes 25$ towards your spay or neuter fee.
Please come and visit us and don't forget to bring a cat carrier or dog leash to take your new pet home safely.
